The Jam by Martyn GoddardOne of three rolls of film used to produce the 'In the City' album cover for the Jam shot in my studio in London March 1977. Bill Smith, the art director, and I built the set of white tiles in my studio. Bill sprayed the iconic logo on the wall. The band had style and the slick black suits helped produce what was to be one of Polydor Records first monochrome album covers,they even changed the company logo to ice blue as a one off for the band.
